IT Auditor

About the role

We are a forward‑thinking financial institution undergoing digital transformation and seeking an experienced IT Auditor. You will evaluate our IT systems, infrastructure, applications and processes to ensure compliance with standards, policies and regulations while providing actionable recommendations.

Key responsibilities

• Manage user access administration for core banking applications, including onboarding new users and disabling accounts of exited staff.
• Conduct periodic reviews of system controls, operating procedures, communication security, backup, disaster recovery and system maintenance.
• Perform regular risk assessments on IT infrastructure, covering threat analysis, enterprise security processes and physical access controls.
• Assess the adequacy of system configuration, change‑management processes, software development practices and logical access controls.
• Collaborate with internal teams, external auditors, regulators and law‑enforcement agencies on IT audit issues and provide expert testimony when required.
• Carry out operational, compliance, financial and investigative audits as assigned.
• Monitor the bank’s computer networks for mismanagement, fraud, inefficiency or abuse.

Required profile

• Detail‑oriented professional with a strong passion for protecting systems, data and processes.
• Comfortable working in structured environments and handling detailed documentation.
• Ability to balance technical analysis with broader organizational goals.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for clear reporting.
• Team player who can also work independently with minimal supervision.

Required skills

• Proven experience conducting IT audits of systems, infrastructures, applications and processes.
• Knowledge of IT governance, risk management and compliance frameworks.
• Familiarity with user access administration, change management and logical access controls.
• Ability to perform risk assessments and threat analysis.
