Investment Analyst

About the role

The Investment Analyst will support Blackaion Capital’s acquisition and investment activities across infrastructure and emerging‑market projects. Reporting to senior team members, you will apply financial analysis, modeling and valuation techniques to identify and evaluate potential deals.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct detailed financial analysis of acquisition targets and project opportunities.
• Build, review and maintain complex financial models, pro‑forma statements and valuation spreadsheets.
• Prepare project teasers, information memoranda, pitch decks and other marketing documents.
• Support budgeting, forecasting and periodic performance reporting for existing portfolio assets.
• Participate in capital‑raising initiatives and assist in structuring financing solutions.
• Collaborate with external partners, financiers and sponsors to drive transaction execution.
• Contribute to value‑creation activities across Blackaion’s subsidiaries and business lines.

Required profile

• 3‑5 years of progressive financial analyst experience, with at least one year in a supervisory or lead role.
• Degree in economics, finance, accounting or a related discipline.
• Professional certifications such as ICAN, CFA or ACCA are a plus.
• Strong analytical thinking, communication abilities and a self‑starter attitude.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel proficiency for financial modeling.
