Inventory Officer

About the role

The Inventory Officer will be responsible for maintaining optimal stock levels and ensuring accurate inventory records for Vertex Realty Solutions Limited’s real‑estate operations in Lagos. This role supports procurement, warehouse, and logistics teams to prevent stockouts and minimise losses.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor daily stock levels, trigger replenishment alerts and prevent stockouts.
• Receive and inspect incoming shipments, verify quantities against purchase orders.
• Maintain inventory data in ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle, recording all transactions.
• Conduct regular cycle counts and physical audits, investigate discrepancies and reconcile records.
• Label, tag and store items efficiently to maximise warehouse space.
• Prepare routine reports on aging, variance and turnover for management review.
• Enforce loss‑prevention policies and ensure secure storage conditions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Accounting or related field.
• 2–3 years of proven experience in inventory control, warehouse operations or supply‑chain management.
• Strong analytical and mathematical abilities with keen attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills for coordination with logistics, procurement and warehouse teams.
