Inventory Officer

About the role

We are seeking an Inventory Officer to oversee the stock of cosmetics and beauty products at our Lagos store. The role combines inventory control with front‑line customer service, ensuring that product availability and presentation meet our high standards.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and update stock records using Retail Man software.
• Monitor inventory levels, generate restocking reports and conduct regular stock counts.
• Receive, record and verify incoming merchandise.
• Track damaged, expired, returned or missing items and reconcile discrepancies.
• Assist customers in selecting suitable cosmetics and meet sales targets.
• Arrange products neatly on shelves, keep the cosmetics section clean and attractive.
• Support promotional and special‑sale activities.
• Provide consistent, high‑quality customer service.

Required profile

• OND, HND or Bachelor’s degree.
• Minimum 2 years experience in inventory management, retail sales or a related role.
• Hands‑on experience with Retail Man software.
• Background in selling cosmetics, skincare or beauty products.
• Strong communication and customer‑service abilities.
• Basic proficiency with Microsoft Excel and general computer use.
• Attention to detail, accurate record‑keeping and ability to work independently.
• Residence in Sangotedo, Ajah, Abraham Adesanya, Ogombo, Badore, Langbasa or nearby areas.
