Internal Auditor

About the role

The Internal Auditor will provide independent assurance on the effectiveness of financial and operational controls across Thronos Alliance. This senior‑level position involves developing audit plans, testing transactions, and supporting fraud investigations to safeguard the organization’s assets.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute risk‑based internal audit plans.
• Review financial and operational controls and conduct audits across all departments.
• Identify control weaknesses, fraud risks, and process deficiencies.
• Test transactions and supporting documentation.
• Prepare detailed audit reports with corrective and preventive recommendations.
• Follow up on the implementation of audit recommendations.
• Conduct compliance and operational audits.
• Support fraud investigations when required.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of internal policies and procedures.
• Maintain proper audit working papers and provide independent assurance to management.

Required profile

• Minimum HND in Accounting, Finance, Economics or related discipline.
• ACA/ACCA/ANAN/CIA certification or part‑qualification preferred.
• At least 2 years of internal or external audit experience.
• High integrity and professional independence.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of internal controls and risk management.
• Excellent analytical and investigative abilities.
• Solid understanding of accounting and audit standards.
