About the role

We are seeking an Insurance Policy Advisor to join Heirs Insurance Group’s Retail Services team in Lagos. The role focuses on delivering tailored insurance and financial solutions to individuals and businesses while building lasting client relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Establish and nurture long‑term relationships with clients across Lagos and surrounding areas.
• Assess client risks and recommend appropriate coverage such as life, health, education, vehicle, home, and income protection.
• Develop personalized financial and retirement plans, including pensions, annuities, and savings strategies.
• Provide investment advisory services, suggesting suitable investment, education funds, and endowment products.
• Drive sales growth through proactive prospecting of multinational companies, government entities, and individual customers.
• Conduct regular portfolio reviews and adjust plans as client circumstances evolve.
• Educate prospects on the importance and benefits of insurance for families and businesses.

Required profile

• Minimum OND (Ordinary National Diploma) in any discipline from a reputable institution.
• Entry‑level candidates welcome; 1–2 years of sales or insurance experience is a strong advantage.
• Strong communication, analytical, negotiation and problem‑solving abilities.
• Resilient, teachable attitude with a willingness to take initiative and work independently.
