Insurance Financial Advisor

About the role

The Insurance Financial Advisor role is a full‑time, hybrid position based in Lagos. You will work directly with clients to understand their financial objectives, evaluate existing insurance and investment holdings, and propose tailored solutions that enhance long‑term security.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct client meetings to assess financial goals and risk tolerance.
• Develop comprehensive financial plans that integrate insurance, retirement, and investment strategies.
• Explain product features, coverage options, and policy terms in clear language.
• Maintain accurate client records and ensure compliance with regulatory and internal standards.
• Collaborate with teams across Heirs General, Heirs Life, and Heirs Insurance Brokers to deliver coordinated solutions.
• Perform periodic policy reviews, updates, and proactive client communications.

Required profile

• Strong foundational knowledge of finance and insurance concepts.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business or a related field.
• Relevant professional certifications are a plus.
• Previous experience in insurance, banking or financial advisory is highly beneficial.
• Ability to work independently in a hybrid environment while adhering to ethical and regulatory standards.

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Office for reporting and client documentation.
