Industrial Trainee

About the role

We are looking for an Industrial Trainee to support our workshop operations in Lagos. The role offers hands‑on experience in mechanical installation, repair and maintenance within the automotive and aviation sector.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in installation, repair and maintenance of mechanical and workshop equipment.
• Support fabrication, assembly and testing activities.
• Handle tools and machines safely under supervision.
• Help with loading, off‑loading and movement of materials.
• Maintain a clean and organized workshop environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Workshop Supervisor.

Required profile

• ONd in Mechanical Engineering or related engineering discipline (or Trade Test/Technical Vocational Certificate).
• No prior experience required; fresh graduates or undergraduate students on SIWES/Industrial Attachment are welcome.
• Physically fit, eager to learn and a team player.
• Available for a period of 6 months to 1 year.
• Resident of Lagos preferred.

Required skills

• Basic knowledge of workshop tools.
• Understanding of workshop safety procedures.
