Human Resources and Compliance Manager

About the role

DriveCare Logistics and Services Limited (DCLS) is Nigeria’s leading logistics‑tech platform and is looking for a Human Resources and Compliance Manager to lead HR operations and regulatory compliance for its driver fleet and corporate staff in Lagos.

Key responsibilities

• Manage full‑cycle recruitment for internal staff and outsourced professional drivers, matching talent to client specifications, skills and proximity.
• Ensure compliance with Nigerian labour laws and state transport regulations (LASDRI, LASRRA), overseeing driver verification processes including background, double‑guarantor, residential and psychometric checks.
• Implement disciplinary frameworks, code of conduct, KPIs and handle grievance escalations, driver performance monitoring and client satisfaction metrics.
• Design and deliver onboarding programmes covering defensive driving, executive etiquette and customer service, and coordinate safety workshops and compliance renewals.
• Maintain digital HR databases, verify deployment and attendance logs for accurate payroll processing, and collaborate with logistics teams on incident response protocols.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or HND in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, Law or related field.
• 3‑6 years progressive HR experience, with at least 2 years in a managerial or supervisory role.
• Hands‑on experience managing blue‑collar workforces, driver fleets or outsourced labour in transportation, logistics or supply‑chain environments in Lagos.
• Strong knowledge of Nigerian labour legislation and state transport regulations.
