HR Manager

About the role

Spurt Solutions is seeking an experienced HR Manager to lead its human‑resources function in Lagos. The role will shape strategy, drive talent initiatives and ensure compliance across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Strategic HR leadership: develop and implement HR strategies that align with the company’s mission, vision and business objectives.
• Advisor to senior leadership on workforce planning, organizational design and change management.
• Partner with leadership to promote employee engagement, diversity, equity and inclusion initiatives.
• Monitor HR metrics and analytics to identify trends and recommend solutions for organisational effectiveness.
• Oversee full‑cycle recruitment, employer branding and onboarding to deliver a seamless candidate experience.
• Design and implement retention programmes, including career development, recognition and competitive compensation.
• Manage employee‑relations issues, conflict resolution, disciplinary actions and investigations while ensuring legal compliance.
• Develop and run performance‑management systems, including goal setting, appraisals and feedback.
• Assess training needs and deliver workshops, seminars and leadership development programmes.
• Create and administer compensation and benefits packages that meet industry standards and budget constraints.

Required profile

• Mid‑level professional with at least 48 months (4 years) of HR experience.
• Proven ability to act as a trusted advisor to senior leadership on workforce planning and change management.
• Experience overseeing full‑cycle recruitment, employer branding and retention initiatives.
• Familiarity with employee‑relations processes, conflict resolution and compliance with employment laws.
• Experience designing performance‑management systems and training programmes.
• Knowledge of compensation and benefits design and salary benchmarking.
