About the role

The Hotel Porter plays a vital part in delivering a warm welcome and seamless experience for guests at Teestone Hotel and Apartment. This on‑site role involves handling luggage, guiding guests, and supporting the front‑desk and housekeeping teams to ensure high standards of service.

Key responsibilities

• Welcome guests upon arrival and assist with luggage handling.
• Escort guests to their rooms and explain hotel facilities, services, and amenities.
• Assist guests with luggage during check‑in, check‑out, and room changes.
• Respond promptly to guest requests and inquiries in a friendly, professional manner.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the lobby, entrance, and luggage storage areas.
• Transport packages, deliveries, and guest belongings as needed.
• Provide information about hotel services, local attractions, transportation, and nearby amenities.
• Coordinate with front‑desk and housekeeping teams to ensure guest satisfaction.
• Monitor entrances and public areas, reporting any security or maintenance concerns.
• Support special events and group arrivals/departures when required.
• Ensure guests receive prompt and efficient service at all times.

Required profile

• Minimum SSCE/High School Certificate or equivalent.
• At least 12 months of experience in hospitality, customer service, or a similar role (preferred).
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Physically fit and able to lift and carry luggage safely.
• Professional appearance and a positive attitude.
• Willingness to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays.
