Hotel Housekeeper

About the role

The Teestone Hotel and Apartment is seeking a dedicated Housekeeper to maintain the high standards of cleanliness and guest comfort across its rooms and public areas. This full‑time, onsite position is based in the Marina district of Lagos and offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic hospitality environment.

Key responsibilities

• Clean and service guest rooms, bathrooms, corridors and public spaces in line with hotel standards.
• Change bed linens, make beds, and replenish towels and toiletries.
• Vacuum, sweep, mop, dust and sanitize assigned areas daily.
• Report any maintenance issues, damages or safety hazards to the appropriate department.
• Maintain housekeeping carts, restock supplies and manage lost‑and‑found items according to procedures.
• Respond promptly and professionally to guest requests and inquiries.
• Follow health, safety and sanitation regulations at all times.
• Assist with deep‑cleaning projects and other duties as assigned.

Required profile

• Minimum SSCE qualification.
• Previous housekeeping or hotel experience is an advantage.
• Good physical stamina and ability to perform cleaning tasks.
• Attention to detail and a strong commitment to cleanliness.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Flexibility to work shifts, weekends and public holidays.
