About the role
We are looking for a reliable Hotel Cashier to join our Abuja property. The successful candidate will manage guest billing, cash handling and support the front‑office and F&B teams while delivering professional service.
Key responsibilities
- Handle guest check‑ins, check‑outs, billing and payment transactions accurately.
- Process cash, credit card, debit card and other payment methods in line with hotel policies.
- Issue receipts, invoices and refunds as required.
- Maintain accurate cash drawers and reconcile transactions at the start and end of each shift.
- Prepare daily cashier reports, deposits and financial records.
- Respond to guest inquiries regarding charges, payments and billing issues.
- Support front office and food‑and‑beverage teams with guest accounts and room charges.
- Follow internal control procedures to prevent fraud and ensure compliance with financial standards.
- Maintain confidentiality of guest and financial information.
- Provide courteous and professional service to all guests.
Required profile
- Minimum B.Sc. in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or a related field.
- 1–3 years experience as a cashier, teller or in a finance role; hospitality experience preferred.
- Strong numerical and analytical abilities with high attention to detail.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, weekends and holidays.
Required skills
- Proficiency with POS systems.
- Experience using hotel management software such as Opera or Micros.
- Competent in Microsoft Office applications.
