Health Records Officer

About the role
The Health Records Officer will manage patient information at Omega Golden Fertility, ensuring accurate and secure handling of medical records. This role supports clinical operations by maintaining both physical and electronic files and facilitating data‑driven decision making.
Key responsibilities
- Register new patients and update existing records to maintain data accuracy.
- Organize, store, and retrieve physical and electronic medical files for authorized personnel.
- Apply ICD‑10 coding to classify diagnoses and procedures for billing and analysis.
- Ensure compliance with data protection regulations and hospital privacy policies.
- Generate daily, monthly, and annual reports on admissions, discharges, mortality, and other clinical metrics.
- Coordinate appointment scheduling, respond to patient inquiries, and support inter‑departmental information exchange.
Required profile
- Diploma in health records, health information management, or a related field.
- Minimum three years of experience in a healthcare setting.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
- Proficiency with computer applications and familiarity with medical terminology.
- Commitment to confidentiality and regulatory compliance.
Required skills
- ICD‑10 clinical coding.
