Head of Sales

About the role

FMR Agency is seeking a dynamic Head of Sales to lead its sales function across retail, fashion and FMCG segments. You will be responsible for shaping the overall sales strategy, expanding market presence and driving revenue growth in Nigeria and beyond.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute the company’s overall sales strategy to achieve revenue targets.
• Identify and penetrate new markets, partnerships and distribution channels.
• Build, lead and manage a high‑performing sales team.
• Set clear sales targets, KPIs and performance metrics for the team.
• Monitor sales performance and adjust tactics to maximise results.
• Create sales forecasting models and revenue growth plans.
• Maintain and grow relationships with key clients and strategic partners.
• Lead negotiations for major deals and partnerships.
• Collaborate with marketing and operations to strengthen sales execution.
• Implement sales systems and processes that support scalable growth.
• Drive expansion into new territories and retail channels.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing or a related field.
• MBA or advanced business qualification is an advantage.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in sales leadership roles.
• Proven track record of achieving aggressive revenue targets.
• Experience building and managing high‑performing sales teams.
• Background in retail, fashion, FMCG or consumer goods is preferred.
