Head of Sales

About the role

The Head of Sales will lead the company’s sales function, shaping strategy and driving revenue growth across Lagos and other key regions. Reporting to senior management, this role oversees business development, key account management, and cross‑functional collaboration to expand market share in construction, real estate, hospitality and commercial sectors.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies aligned with business objectives.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities in target sectors.
• Lead, coach, and mentor the sales team, setting targets and monitoring performance.
• Build and maintain relationships with distributors, architects, contractors, developers and retail partners.
• Negotiate commercial agreements and pricing structures.
• Achieve monthly, quarterly and annual revenue targets and increase product penetration.
• Prepare sales forecasts, pipeline reports and ensure accurate CRM management.
• Collaborate with Operations, Production, Finance and Marketing to ensure product availability and brand visibility.
• Deliver exceptional customer experience and resolve major complaints.

Required profile

• Senior‑level professional with at least 8 years of sales experience (96 months).
• Proven track record in developing sales strategies and driving revenue growth.
• Strong leadership skills with experience coaching and developing sales teams.
• Excellent relationship‑building abilities with distributors and key industry stakeholders.
