Growth & Marketing Operations Manager

About the role

Primote Africa is seeking a senior Growth & Marketing Operations Manager to drive its e‑commerce expansion. You will shape growth strategy, lead cross‑functional marketing teams, and ensure campaigns deliver measurable results.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the company’s growth strategy and identify opportunities to increase sales and profitability.
• Develop creative and marketing plans that deliver strong campaign outcomes.
• Oversee the creative production pipeline to keep projects on schedule.
• Ensure all deliverables meet established quality standards.
• Set performance targets for teams and hold them accountable for results.
• Identify and resolve marketing bottlenecks that could impact performance.
• Conduct regular performance review meetings and track progress against goals.
• Improve systems, processes, and reporting across the business.
• Prepare reports and recommendations for management on business performance.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in e‑commerce, growth marketing, performance marketing, or a similar role.
• Proven track record of growing sales and scaling e‑commerce businesses.
• Strong understanding of digital marketing, customer acquisition, and conversion strategies.
• Experience managing teams such as media buyers, copywriters, videographers, and other marketing professionals.
• Good grasp of key marketing metrics like conversion rate, attention retention, and profitability.
• Strong leadership, communication, planning, and problem‑solving abilities.
• Knowledge of what constitutes effective creative assets.
• Understanding of major advertising platforms including Meta, Google, and TikTok.
