Group Brands and Communications Officer

About the role

The Group Brands and Communications Officer will shape and protect the Sohcahtoa Holdings brand across all entities. This role leads the communications strategy, media relations, and corporate storytelling to strengthen market position and stakeholder trust.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in developing and implementing brand strategy for the group and its subsidiaries.
• Ensure consistent application of brand guidelines across all communication materials and platforms.
• Draft, edit, and proofread internal and external communications, including press releases, CEO speeches, newsletters, and investor updates.
• Coordinate media relations and manage relationships with journalists and media houses.
• Collaborate with business units to conceptualize and implement marketing campaigns for products and services.
• Work with digital and traditional media agencies to deliver integrated marketing communications.
• Oversee creation, scheduling, and posting of content on corporate social media platforms.
• Plan and coordinate corporate events, product launches, stakeholder forums, and sponsorship initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Mass Communication, Marketing, Public Relations, or a related field.
• Professional certifications such as CIM, NIPR, or Digital Marketing Institute (preferred).
• Ability to craft and manage brand architecture across multiple entities.
• Excellent writing, editing, and storytelling skills for various media.
• Proficiency in managing social media, SEO, SEM, and web analytics tools.
• Capability to work with designers or use visual content tools like Canva and Adobe Suite.
• Experience in media liaison, press release drafting, and public speaking.
