About the role

We are looking for a reliable Laundry Worker to join our team at Obi’s Spin Laundromat on Lagos Mainland. This full‑time, on‑site position involves handling a steady flow of laundry items for individuals, corporations, and government clients while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and service.

Key responsibilities

• Receive, sort, and tag incoming laundry items.
• Operate washing, drying, and ironing equipment safely and efficiently.
• Inspect garments for stains or damage and apply appropriate cleaning methods.
• Fold, package, and label finished items for delivery.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and keep basic order records.
• Follow safety, hygiene, and quality‑control procedures.
• Provide courteous service to customers and collaborate with colleagues.

Required profile

• Experience with basic laundry operations such as sorting, washing, drying, ironing, and folding.
• Ability to follow cleaning instructions and handle different fabric types.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in tagging and labeling.
• Basic organizational and time‑management skills to meet daily targets.
• Physical ability to stand for long periods and lift moderate loads.
• Reliability, punctuality, and willingness to work full‑time, including weekends or shifts as needed.
