Front Desk Officer

About the role

We are looking for a Front Desk Officer to be the first point of contact for visitors, parents, students and other stakeholders at our school in Lagos. The role involves managing reception activities, handling enquiries and supporting daily administrative tasks in a professional and courteous manner.

Key responsibilities

• Greet and direct visitors, parents, students and other stakeholders in a friendly and professional manner.
• Manage front‑desk and reception duties, ensuring the area is organized and welcoming.
• Respond to enquiries and route requests to the appropriate department or staff member.
• Maintain accurate administrative records and assist with routine office tasks.
• Utilize Microsoft Office applications for day‑to‑day administrative work.
• Protect confidential information and represent the school positively in all interactions.

Required profile

• Minimum OND/HND qualification in any discipline.
• At least 3 years of experience in customer service, front‑desk or reception roles.
• Strong sense of professionalism, responsibility and commitment to high standards.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills suitable for a school environment.
• Positive, organized and student‑focused attitude.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
