Fraud and Investigation Analyst

About the role

Join Renmoney’s Fraud Risk Management team to help monitor transactions, detect suspicious activities, and support investigations that protect the organization’s assets. This position is ideal for an analytical, detail‑oriented individual looking to build expertise in fraud prevention within a fast‑paced financial services environment.

Key responsibilities

• Review transactional activities to identify unusual trends, red flags, or potential fraud indicators.
• Support investigations by gathering data, validating information, and preparing evidence files.
• Conduct preliminary data analysis to uncover fraud patterns and assist in risk assessments.
• Monitor fraud detection tools, dashboards, and alerts on a daily basis.
• Prepare periodic reports summarising fraud trends for management.
• Document corrective actions and track follow‑up activities.
• Assist in developing and implementing monitoring systems to track fraud risks and control gaps.
• Verify data accuracy, identify inconsistencies, and follow established procedures.
• Collaborate with the fraud team on investigations, reporting, and analysis activities.

Required profile

• First degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Statistics, Computer Science or related field with at least Second‑Class Upper Division.
• Internship or coursework experience in fraud risk management, data analytics, internal control or audit is an advantage.
• Curiosity for analysing patterns, strong attention to detail, and problem‑solving mindset.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
