Financial Accountant

About the role

Bravo Products Limited is looking for a competent and detail‑oriented Financial Accountant to support its finance operations. You will strengthen financial reporting, controls, and accountability within a manufacturing environment that produces mattresses, pillows, and other bedding essentials.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain accurate general ledger entries and financial records.
• Manage daily accounting transactions, including accounts payable and receivable.
• Perform bank reconciliations and monitor cash flow.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Analyse financial information and provide insights to management.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and cost‑analysis activities.
• Monitor expenses and identify opportunities for improved financial control.
• Assist with inventory accounting, stock reconciliation, and production cost monitoring.
• Ensure compliance with accounting procedures and statutory requirements.
• Participate in audit processes and suggest improvements to internal controls.

Required profile

• HND or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in accounting or financial reporting.
• Experience in a manufacturing, production, or trading environment is an advantage.
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting, reconciliations, and accounting principles.
• Familiarity with Nigerian tax regulations and statutory compliance.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with Qwayet or similar accounting software.
