Finance Manager

About the role

Action Health Incorporated is seeking an experienced Finance Manager to lead its financial operations in Lagos. The role focuses on managing grants, budgeting, reporting and ensuring compliance for a non-profit organization.

Key responsibilities

• Track, monitor and report on restricted funds and grants, ensuring alignment with donor regulations and budget milestones.
• Develop annual organisational and project-specific budgets, provide cash-flow forecasts and variance analyses.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements and present insights to non-financial stakeholders and the Board.
• Manage the annual independent audit, tax filings and ensure compliance with GAAP and local legal requirements.
• Oversee accounts payable/receivable, payroll processing, internal controls and maintain the chart of accounts and accounting systems.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in non-profit finance, accounting or grants management.
• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting or business administration.
• ACA certification (required).
• Familiarity with donor regulations such as UN, USAID, EU or local foundations.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel
• QuickBooks (or similar fund-accounting software)

What we offer

• Monthly salary between NGN 600,000 and NGN 900,000.
