Field Production Coordinator

About the role

We are seeking a proactive Field Production Coordinator to manage daily field production activities for news reports, documentaries, and special coverage assignments. You will act as the primary link between field crews and the newsroom, ensuring smooth logistics, timely execution, and compliance with editorial and safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and schedule reporters, camera operators, producers, and technical crews for field assignments.
• Arrange transportation, accommodation, permits, equipment, and location access.
• Monitor field operations to ensure assignments meet deadlines and editorial requirements.
• Support planning for breaking news, live events, press conferences, and special reports.
• Maintain accurate records of assignments, schedules, expenses, and field reports.
• Assist with risk assessment and enforce safety protocols during field work.
• Liaise with government agencies, event organizers, interviewees, and other stakeholders as needed.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Mass Communication, Broadcast Journalism, Media Studies, Television Production, Film Production, or a related field.
• At least 2 years of experience in news production, broadcast operations, or field coordination.
• Strong organizational, planning, and multitasking abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
