Field Officer – Child Vaccination Program (Kano State)

About the role

The Field Officer will support New Incentives’ cash‑transfer programme that encourages mothers in Kano State to complete their infants’ immunisation schedule. Working directly with public clinics, you will enrol eligible beneficiaries, manage cash disbursements and help increase demand for childhood vaccinations.

Key responsibilities

• Enroll mothers and infants at remote public clinics based on strict eligibility criteria.
• Monitor immunisation services, record vaccinations, stock‑outs and any barriers to service delivery.
• Interact with clinic staff and beneficiaries, providing health talks and coaching caregivers on follow‑up visits.
• Conduct rapid assessments and submit detailed enrollment and cash‑management reports.
• Prevent fraud by verifying beneficiary information and ensuring proper documentation.

Required profile

• Reside in one of the listed towns within Kano State.
• Young, hard‑working and dedicated to improving child health.
• Willingness to travel to remote clinics and work in field conditions.
• Basic literacy and numeracy for accurate record‑keeping and cash handling.
