Fashion Production Officer

About the role

The Fashion Production Officer will oversee the end‑to‑end garment manufacturing process for Primote Africa. You will work closely with designers, tailors and suppliers to ensure timely, high‑quality production that meets customer specifications.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate daily garment production activities, monitor schedules and ensure deadlines are met.
• Conduct quality control checks on finished garments before delivery.
• Maintain accurate records of fabrics, trims and finished products; alert management of low stock.
• Collaborate with suppliers to procure materials and manage inventory levels.
• Track customer orders from production through packaging and dispatch, ensuring on‑time delivery.
• Prepare daily and weekly production reports and communicate status to management.
• Keep the production environment clean, organized and efficient.

Required profile

• OND or equivalent qualification.
• Minimum 2 years experience in fashion production or garment manufacturing.
• Strong understanding of garment construction and production workflows.
• Excellent organizational, time‑management and problem‑solving abilities.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word.
