Factory Manager – Production & Operations Lead

About the role

The Factory Manager will lead daily production operations across our facilities in Lagos and Ogun state, ensuring that output meets delivery schedules while maintaining high quality and safety standards. This senior role combines strategic planning, team leadership, and continuous improvement to drive efficient manufacturing.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and oversee daily production activities to meet delivery schedules.
• Optimize utilization of machinery, manpower and materials to achieve production targets.
• Implement process‑improvement strategies to reduce waste and enhance efficiency.
• Ensure all products meet company quality standards and client specifications.
• Supervise production staff, provide training and foster a positive work environment.
• Oversee equipment maintenance and implement preventative maintenance programs.
• Enforce safety protocols, conduct audits and investigate incidents.
• Develop and manage factory budgets, control costs and optimize resources.
• Maintain compliance with local, national and international manufacturing regulations.
• Prepare regular performance reports for senior management.

Required profile

• HND or BSc degree in Engineering, Industrial Management or a related field.
• 8+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing and production processes.
• Excellent leadership, organizational and problem‑solving abilities.

Required skills

• Proficiency with production planning software and tools.
• Understanding of quality control systems and safety protocols.
