About the role

We are seeking an ESG Researcher to join Pollen Consulting on a contract basis, focusing on environmental, social and governance analysis within Nigeria’s oil and gas sector. The role involves delivering high‑quality research that supports our clients’ sustainability strategies.

Key responsibilities

Conduct ESG‑related research and perform data analysis.
Review industry reports, policies and relevant literature.
Prepare research reports, briefs and presentation decks.
Support stakeholder engagement and ensure timely delivery of project outputs.

Required profile

Degree in environmental science, social sciences, economics, public policy, sustainability or a related field.
At least three years of experience conducting ESG, sustainability, governance or policy research in Nigeria.
Strong knowledge of the Nigerian oil and gas sector.
Excellent analytical, research and report‑writing abilities.
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
