Engineering Storekeeper

About the role

The Engineering Storekeeper will manage the receipt, storage, and issue of materials for PZ Cussons. The role ensures accurate record‑keeping, maintains orderly stores, and supports safe working conditions.

Key responsibilities

• Receive, store and account for all incoming materials.
• Check waybills, verify quantities, record shortages and raise necessary documents.
• Maintain stock control records, compare monthly with system data.
• Authorize emergency I.O.U. only with proper approval.
• Organise stores for easy checking, report shortages and low stock, and keep the area clean.
• Enter daily receipts and issues into the computer system using item references.
• Ensure safe working conditions and communicate with other supervisors on organisational matters.

Required profile

• ND/HND/BSc in Electrical Engineering or related engineering discipline.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant work experience.
• Strong communication, leadership and interpersonal abilities.
• Good numerical handling, time‑management and problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to identify improvement opportunities quickly.
