Engineering Intern – Manufacturing & IoT

About the role

The Engineering Intern will support ZICS' engineering and production teams in design, fabrication, and smart product development. This hands‑on position is ideal for recent engineering graduates eager to apply their knowledge in a real manufacturing environment.

Key responsibilities

• Assist engineers in daily production and technical activities.
• Support design and fabrication processes for doors, gates, and furniture.
• Help create CAD drawings and basic technical documentation.
• Participate in CNC, laser cutting, and prototype development.
• Assist in integrating smart/IoT components into products.

Required profile

• HND/BSc graduate in Mechanical, Mechatronics, Civil, Electrical, Industrial Engineering or related fields.
• Strong willingness to learn, take initiative and work in a fast‑paced, hands‑on environment.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.

Required skills

• Basic understanding of manufacturing processes.
• Familiarity with CAD (Computer Aided Design).
• Exposure to CNC and laser cutting equipment.
• Interest in smart/IoT product integration.
