Dispatch Rider

About the role

Ajibola's Empire is looking for a reliable Dispatch Rider to join its logistics team in Lagos. You will be responsible for picking up and delivering packages, documents, and small items across designated routes while ensuring safety and punctuality.

Key responsibilities

• Plan daily delivery schedules and confirm client addresses.
• Pick up and deliver parcels, documents, and small items to clients, partners, and internal teams.
• Maintain accurate records of pickups, drop‑offs, and proof‑of‑delivery.
• Inspect and keep the motorcycle in good working condition.
• Follow traffic regulations and company safety policies.
• Provide courteous, professional customer service during each delivery.
• Support basic errands and report any delivery issues to the supervisor.

Required profile

• Strong road safety awareness and good knowledge of Lagos routes.
• Ability to follow GPS or map directions effectively.
• Excellent time‑management, planning, and organizational skills.
• Clear communication and customer‑service abilities.
• Basic record‑keeping skills for logging deliveries and receipts.
• Valid motorcycle riding licence with proven riding experience.
• Ability to lift and carry small to medium packages safely.
• Reliability, honesty, and a strong sense of responsibility.
• Minimum secondary school education; prior dispatch or courier experience is a plus.
