Director of Academic Excellence – Remote

About the role

2 Hour Learning is looking for a senior academic leader to own and scale its proven learning model that enables students to learn twice as fast in just two hours a day. This remote, full‑time position will translate rigorous learning‑science research into actionable curriculum frameworks and serve as the public face of the movement worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Design academic frameworks that turn learning‑science principles into concrete guidance for curriculum, motivation systems, and application development.
• Conduct execution reviews with Heads of Academics to keep school teams aligned, accountable, and results‑driven.
• Integrate data, interviews, and observations to evaluate academic ecosystems, identify high‑impact obstacles, and recommend concrete interventions.
• Ensure strategic alignment through planning, feedback loops, and milestone monitoring focused on student learning objectives.
• Represent 2 Hour Learning at keynote events, ministries of education, and other high‑visibility forums to advance systemic change.

Required profile

• Advanced degree (Master’s or Ph.D.) in Learning Science, Educational Psychology, Instructional Design, or a related field.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in academic or EdTech leadership, with direct responsibility for a team of staff or employees.
• Proven track record of delivering measurable learning outcomes at scale.
