Digital Systems and Data Expert

About the role

NTU International A/S is seeking a senior Digital Systems and Data Expert to join the core team of an EU‑funded project supporting transport governance in the ECOWAS region. The role focuses on designing, developing and managing digital information systems and data platforms that enable sustainable, smart and safe mobility across land, air and water transport.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement digital information systems and data platforms for transport, logistics and infrastructure monitoring.
• Develop and maintain databases, observatories or portals that support regional integration and corridor performance analysis.
• Ensure data standards, interoperability and governance frameworks are applied throughout the project.
• Provide analytical support and problem‑solving for data‑driven decision‑making.
• Collaborate with stakeholders in developing countries to tailor digital tools for road safety, logistics flows and performance monitoring.

Required profile

• University degree in IT, data analytics, computer science, AI or a related field (master’s degree is a plus).
• Minimum 15 years of professional experience in digital systems, information management or data analytics.
• At least 5 years of experience with digital platforms, databases or observatories in transport, logistics, infrastructure or regional integration.
• Fluency in English; French is an asset.
