Digital Content Manager

About the role

CoreHR Consulting is seeking a Digital Content Manager to lead the repurposing of podcast episodes into engaging short‑form content and to grow the platform’s presence across multiple social channels. The role is fully remote and focuses on building a vibrant community around Africa’s creative economy.

Key responsibilities

• Transform podcast episodes into reels, shorts, carousels, and tweets using hands‑on video editing or by directing an editor.
• Manage and grow the platform’s posting cadence on YouTube, Spotify, TikTok, Instagram, and X.
• Maintain a consistent content calendar aligned with episode releases and platform‑specific formats.
• Handle community management by engaging listeners, responding to comments, and fostering an active podcast community.
• Track organic growth metrics—subscribers, listeners, engagement, reach—and report on performance.
• Support monetisation efforts through sponsorships, ads, and memberships as the audience expands.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mass Communication, Media Studies, Marketing, or a related field.
• Proven hands‑on video editing experience with tools such as CapCut or Premiere Pro.
• Track record of managing or growing social/content channels on YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, Spotify, or X.
• Strong interest and knowledge of Africa’s creative economy (fashion, music, film, art, entrepreneurship).
