DevOps / Cloud Infrastructure Engineer

About the role

Swift Consulting is looking for a proactive DevOps / Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to design, build and maintain scalable AWS environments for enterprise applications. You will work in a fast‑paced, highly regulated setting, ensuring reliable, secure deployments across development, QA, UAT and production.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and maintain AWS infrastructure using Terraform.
• Build, manage and troubleshoot CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions) for automated deployments.
• Support containerised workloads on Docker and ECS Fargate.
• Monitor system performance, availability and cloud resource utilisation.
• Conduct vulnerability assessments, remediate security findings and support compliance reviews.
• Collaborate with developers, project teams and security stakeholders to improve deployment workflows.
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation, including deployment guides and architecture diagrams.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT or related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Infrastructure or Site Reliability Engineering.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting and problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills with attention to detail.

• AWS services: ECS, Lambda, S3, IAM, VPC, CloudWatch, Route 53, Secrets Manager.
• Infrastructure‑as‑Code with Terraform.
• CI/CD automation using GitHub Actions.
• Containerisation with Docker and ECS Fargate.
• Linux system administration and shell scripting.
• Version control with Git.
• Cloud security best practices and vulnerability remediation.
• Infrastructure monitoring tools.
