Devices Configuration & Technical Support Engineer

About the role

Novatrack is seeking a senior‑level engineer to configure, deploy and support advanced dashcam and telematics solutions across its vehicle fleet. You will lead technical installations, ensure reliable data transmission, and act as the primary point of contact for field teams.

Key responsibilities

• Configure and install vehicle dashcam systems, AI cameras, MDVR units and CANbus interfaces for diverse fleet vehicles.
• Set up communication protocols such as TCP/IP, APN, cloud connectivity, live streaming and remote monitoring.
• Perform firmware upgrades, device provisioning and software updates on telematics hardware.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware/software issues including video recording failures, GPS tracking errors, sensor calibration problems and power‑supply faults.
• Repair damaged circuits, conduct soldering, PCB repairs and component replacements as needed.
• Lead and supervise installation technicians, providing advanced technical support to clients and field crews.
• Develop and maintain technical procedures, installation standards, asset records and maintenance logs.
• Prepare detailed technical reports documenting configurations and repairs.

Required profile

• Minimum B.Sc. degree with at least 5 years of relevant experience.
• Senior‑level expertise in vehicle electronics and telematics systems.
• Proven ability to lead technical teams and manage complex installations.
