Deposit Mobilization Officer

About the role

The Deposit Mobilization Officer will drive the acquisition of new deposit customers and expand existing relationships for Retrust Microfinance Bank. This role focuses on meeting deposit targets while promoting the bank's suite of deposit products across individual, SME, corporate and institutional segments.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and acquire new customers to achieve assigned deposit mobilization targets.
• Market and promote the bank's deposit products and services.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with individual, SME, corporate, and institutional customers.
• Develop and implement effective deposit mobilization strategies.
• Cross‑sell the bank's products and services to existing and prospective customers.
• Monitor customer accounts and ensure prompt resolution of inquiries.
• Prepare periodic sales and business development reports.
• Ensure compliance with the bank's policies, KYC, and regulatory requirements.

Required profile

• Bachelor's Degree or HND in Banking & Finance, Business Administration, Marketing, Economics, or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 3 years' experience in deposit mobilization, sales, or business development within the financial services industry.
• Proven track record of meeting deposit mobilization targets.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship management abilities.
• Ability to work independently and meet assigned targets.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
