Customer Service & Planning Officer – Lagos Island/Epe & Port Harcourt

About the role

The Customer Service & Planning Officer coordinates customer orders, production planning, delivery scheduling, communications, invoicing and service execution for HBM Nigeria's ReadyMix business. Acting as the operational link between customers, sales, plants, logistics, technical and finance teams, the role aims to maximise customer satisfaction, on‑time‑in‑full performance and asset utilisation.

Key responsibilities

• Manage customer orders from receipt through to delivery.
• Coordinate daily production and delivery schedules with plant and logistics teams.
• Maintain effective, timely communication with customers regarding order status.
• Support delivery planning, dispatch coordination and major pour execution.
• Monitor order fulfilment performance and OTIF metrics.
• Coordinate invoicing, ticketing and documentation processes.
• Drive service excellence and high customer satisfaction.
• Support efficient utilisation of plant and logistics resources.

Required profile

• 3–5 years experience in customer service, logistics, planning or operations coordination.
• Experience in manufacturing, construction materials, logistics or industrial operations preferred.
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Logistics, Operations Management, Engineering or related field.
• Strong organisational capability, excellent communication and close attention to detail.
• Ability to work under pressure and mobility within Nigeria.
