Community Manager

About the role

The Community Manager will own and grow our food‑focused audience across Instagram, TikTok and email. You will drive organic growth through user‑generated content, chef‑led stories and community challenges while building lasting relationships with chefs and food lovers.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute audience growth strategies on Instagram, TikTok and email, reducing reliance on paid ads.
• Manage daily inbound activity – comments, DMs, mentions and reposts – responding within 12‑24 hours.
• Spotlight a chef and an audience member each day to foster engagement.
• Maintain active relationships with the top 20 chefs from previous seasons, coordinating check‑ins, hangouts and community conversations.
• Create 2‑3 carousel posts per week using Canva, covering zero‑waste cooking, chef storytelling and audience challenges.
• Launch weekly community challenges to encourage UGC submissions and tagging.
• Identify viral moments and trending conversations to amplify organic growth.
• Provide weekly reports on engagement, audience behaviour and sentiment to Marketing and Programme leads.

Required profile

• Entry‑level candidate with up to 2 years of experience in community or social media management.
• Strong written communication skills and an on‑brand voice.
• Passion for food, culture and creator communities.
• Ability to work independently and coordinate with design and marketing teams.

Required skills

• Canva (or similar design tool) for creating carousel content.
