Community Health Extension Worker

About the role

We are seeking a Community Health Extension Worker to join our healthcare team in Lagos. The role involves delivering basic patient care, supporting clinical operations, and ensuring high standards of infection control within a fast‑paced environment.

Key responsibilities

• Provide basic patient care and assist with pre‑operative and post‑operative procedures.
• Monitor patients, record observations and report any changes in condition.
• Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date patient records.
• Support clinical staff in daily operations and ensure compliance with infection prevention protocols.

Required profile

• Valid Community Health Extension Worker (CHEW) certification and a current practising licence.
• Minimum of 12 months of relevant clinical experience.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a busy healthcare setting.
• Experience in surgical environments is an advantage.
