Community Associate – Lagos

About the role

The Community Associate will support the day‑to‑day operations of ALX Africa’s Lagos hub, ensuring learners and alumni enjoy a vibrant, well‑organised community experience both online and offline. Working closely with the Community Manager, the role brings programmes, events and engagement initiatives to life while tracking impact.

Key responsibilities

• Execute community programmes, events and engagement initiatives following the Community Development Playbook.
• Coordinate logistics for workshops, meet‑ups and other events, handling scheduling, setup and participant management.
• Manage community communication channels, respond to inquiries and moderate platforms.
• Build and maintain relationships with learners, alumni and ambassadors, supporting referral and ambassador programmes.
• Capture user‑generated content such as testimonials, event highlights and learner stories.
• Track and report on community activity, attendance, participation and feedback metrics.
