Community Associate – Lagos

About the role

The Community Associate will support the day‑to‑day operations of ALX Africa’s Lagos hub, creating an engaging environment for learners and alumni both online and offline. Working closely with the Community Manager, you will help bring community programmes, events, and engagement initiatives to life.

Key responsibilities

• Execute and support daily community operations, ensuring a consistent and high‑quality experience for members.
• Coordinate and promote community events, workshops, and networking activities.
• Manage community platforms and communication channels, fostering active participation.
• Track engagement metrics, collect feedback, and use insights to improve community experiences.
• Support partnerships and initiatives that generate value or revenue for the community.
• Maintain the Lagos hub as a welcoming, vibrant space for members.

Required profile

• Proven experience in community programmes, events, or engagement initiatives.
• Highly organised with strong follow‑through on multiple activities.
• People‑oriented, comfortable engaging learners and alumni.
• Data‑driven mindset with ability to track and analyse participation metrics.
• Proactive, reliable, and enthusiastic about building a vibrant tech talent community.
