Classroom Teacher

About the role
We are seeking a passionate Classroom Teacher to deliver the British National Curriculum to our pupils in Lagos. The role involves planning engaging lessons, assessing progress, and fostering a supportive learning environment.
Key responsibilities
- Plan, prepare and deliver lessons aligned with the British National Curriculum.
- Assess, monitor and evaluate pupils' progress using formative and summative strategies.
- Differentiate instruction to meet individual learning needs.
- Maintain classroom management and uphold behaviour and safeguarding policies.
- Prepare lesson plans, schemes of work and learning resources.
- Integrate technology and innovative teaching methods.
- Communicate with parents and guardians about pupil progress and wellbeing.
- Collaborate with colleagues, leadership and support staff for school improvement.
- Participate in staff meetings, professional development, school events and extracurricular activities.
- Maintain accurate records of attendance, assessment and achievement.
Required profile
- Minimum qualification: N.C.E.
- At least 2 years of experience in a similar teaching role.
- Commitment to the school’s vision, mission and values.
- Ability to contribute to a safe, inclusive and high‑performing learning environment.
