Chinese Translator – Client Relations & Sales Support

About the role

We are seeking a Chinese Translator to support our Lagos office in client reception, order follow‑up, and daily external communications. The role combines language expertise with operational assistance, helping to build strong relationships with local partners and international customers.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the manager in receiving visiting clients and accompany them on site visits.
• Track customer orders from placement to delivery, ensuring timely updates between sales, assembly, and clients.
• Handle daily external communications with partners, government agencies, suppliers, and other stakeholders.
• Support the daily operations of the local office, warehouse, and assembly line.
• Generate and close self‑initiated sales orders, earning attractive commissions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher.
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in food‑processing machinery, electrical appliances, mechanical equipment, commercial ovens, freezers, or related industries.
• HSK Level 4 or above; Chinese study experience in China is strongly preferred.
• Completed NYSC with a full discharge certificate.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, organizational, and time‑management abilities.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools.
