About the role
The Chief Operating Officer (COO) will lead daily operations at Ferdie Marie Solutions, ensuring efficiency and alignment with strategic goals. Reporting to the CEO, the COO will drive business expansion, foster an inclusive culture, and support long‑term profitability.
Key responsibilities
- Oversee all operational activities, guaranteeing optimal performance and cost‑effectiveness.
- Develop and execute growth strategies to strengthen market presence in the mining and energy sectors.
- Champion inclusive hiring practices and nurture a collaborative, innovative workplace.
- Partner with senior leadership to improve profitability and sustain long‑term growth.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations, safety standards, and best operational practices.
Required profile
- MBA or MSc in Business Administration or a related field.
- Minimum 10 years of executive leadership experience in Oil & Gas, mining, energy or related industries.
- Strong strategic planning and business development expertise.
- Fluent English communication skills.
- Residency in Lagos, Nigeria.
