Chef – Full-time role in Lagos

About the role

Jade Allen Consulting is seeking a motivated Chef to join its kitchen team in Lagos, Marina. This full‑time position offers the chance to work with both local and international cuisines in a fast‑paced hospitality environment.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and cook a variety of local and international dishes efficiently.
• Ensure proper food presentation, portioning, and adherence to recipes.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards throughout the kitchen.
• Monitor food stock levels and manage kitchen supplies.
• Comply with food safety regulations and proper storage procedures.
• Develop meal plans and suggest menu improvements when needed.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Chef or Cook.
• Culinary school certification is mandatory.
• Good knowledge of both local and continental/international dishes.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment with minimal supervision.
• Strong attention to cleanliness and food hygiene.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills.
