Cashier

About the role

We are looking for a reliable Cashier to join our hospitality team in Lagos. The role involves handling all cash transactions for our hotel and restaurant operations while providing excellent customer service.

Key responsibilities

• Receive and process customer payments accurately.
• Issue receipts and maintain proper transaction records.
• Balance cash drawers and reconcile daily sales.
• Prepare daily cash and sales reports.
• Handle customer inquiries regarding bills and payments.
• Ensure accuracy in all financial transactions.
• Collaborate with management and other departments to ensure smooth operations.
• Maintain confidentiality and integrity when handling company funds.

Required profile

• Minimum of 2 years' experience as a Cashier, preferably in a hotel, restaurant, or hospitality environment.
• Minimum of SSCE, OND, BSc, HND, or equivalent qualification.
• Strong numerical and record‑keeping abilities.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Honest, responsible, detail‑oriented and able to work flexible shifts.
