Business Relationship Manager – Lagos

About the role

Moniepoint is seeking a Business Relationship Manager to drive POS merchant acquisition and expand its sales footprint. The role is remote‑first but based in Lagos, and you will work closely with the sales and product teams to identify growth opportunities across the fintech and banking sectors.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and acquire new POS merchants through cold calling, networking and social media outreach.
• Develop and execute sales strategies to meet and exceed targets.
• Cross‑sell Moniepoint’s banking and fintech products to existing and prospective clients.
• Conduct market research, attend trade fairs and community events to generate leads.
• Maintain and nurture current business relationships, providing ongoing support.
• Prepare and deliver product presentations tailored to customer needs.
• Gather customer feedback and relay insights to internal teams.

Required profile

• 1‑2 years of sales experience, preferably in banking, fintech or related industries.
• Strong understanding of the local financial services market.
• Proven track record in merchant acquisition and onboarding.
• Experience with lending services and POS device sales is a plus.
