Business Development & Marketing Officer

About the role

We are looking for a dynamic Business Development and Marketing Officer to join our team in Lagos. The role focuses on acquiring new merchants for our Lendor POS solution, driving SME loan applications, and building lasting relationships with business customers.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, approach and recruit new merchants for Lendor POS services.
• Promote and originate SME loan applications, meeting monthly targets.
• Conduct regular visits to markets, shops and business locations to educate prospects.
• Convert leads into active customers and maintain accurate records of visits and sales activities.
• Provide regular performance reports to management and represent the company professionally.

Required profile

• Minimum OND qualification.
• At least 12 months of sales or marketing experience (advantageous).
• Strong communication, interpersonal and organisational skills.
• Self‑motivated, target‑driven and able to work independently or as part of a team.
• Professional appearance and corporate business attire.
• Familiarity with the Lagos business environment, especially Lekki and Ajah, is a plus.

Required skills

• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office.
