Business Development Manager

About the role

PRM AFRICA is seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to drive revenue growth across the advertising and media sector. You will lead prospecting efforts, build strategic partnerships, and ensure the delivery of high‑impact client solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, prospect, and secure new business opportunities that align with company revenue targets.
• Develop and execute effective sales strategies and maintain a robust pipeline through networking, referrals, cold outreach, and partnerships.
• Prepare and deliver compelling proposals, presentations, and pitches to prospective clients.
• Negotiate contracts, close deals, and manage post‑sale client relationships to ensure satisfaction and repeat business.
• Collaborate with internal teams to guarantee successful project delivery and excellent client service.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to uncover new opportunities.
• Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking engagements.
• Produce regular reports on sales performance, pipeline status, and revenue forecasts.
• Achieve and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue targets.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications or a related field.
• 7‑10 years of business development, sales or client acquisition experience, preferably within marketing communications, advertising, media, branding or creative industries.
• Proven track record of generating leads, acquiring new clients and consistently meeting revenue targets.
• Strong network of corporate contacts is an advantage.
• Excellent negotiation, presentation and communication abilities.
• Strategic thinker with strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Self‑motivated, target‑driven and capable of working independently.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Experience with CRM tools.
